The Government of Brunei Darussalam is offering annual scholarships under a special scholarship award scheme for 2013/2014 academic session. This scholarship grants allows students to study at Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) and Institut Teknologi Brunei (ITB).


Dengan Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan dan Yang di-Pertuan Persetujuan Brunei Darussalam, Kerajaan Brunei Darussalam menawarkan biasiswa tahunan di bawah Skim Khas Anugerah Biasiswa untuk sesi akademik 2013/2014. 

Kerajaan Brunei Darussalam menawarkan biasiswa tahunan di bawah skim khas anugerah biasiswa untuk sesi akademik 2013/2014. Ini biasiswa membolehkan pelajar untuk belajar di Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) dan Institut Teknologi Brunei (ITB).

Brunei Darussalam Government Scholarship 2010 is now open for all qualified candidates for 2013/2014 academic session at Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) and Institut Teknologi Brunei (ITB).

Eligibility

The eligibilty criteria are as follows :

• Applicants must be citizens of ASEAN, OIC, Commonwealth Member Countries and others
• Applicants must be between the ages of 18 – 25 at the commencement of the academic session for which they are applying for admission. However, under exceptional case, the age limit requirement may be waived for candidates who are applying for Masters and PhD Programmes
• The awards are NOT eligible to Brunei Permanent Residents and foreigners residing in Brunei Darussalam for more than three months

Successful applicant are required to submit a Certificate of Medical Fitness from a registered medical practitioner. Successful applicant should have a valid travel document (passport) with a valid visa to travel to Brunei Darussalam.

How To Apply

The application form must be duly completed and endorsed by the relevant authorities of the applicants country such as Ministry of Foreign Affaris or the relevant agency responsible for the Negara Brunei Darussalam Scholarship in applicant’s country.


Completed application forms, together with certified copies of relevant certificates and documents, must be send to the following address before the closing date to :

• Application forms can be obtained from the Brunei Darussalam Foreign Missions and representatives of Brunei Darussalam or from the following address:

• The application form and supporting documents must be A4 size and printed on one side and then must be duly completed and endorsed by the relevant authorities of the applicants' country of origin. E.g. Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the relevant agency responsible for the Brunei Darussalam Scholarship offers. 
• Three copies of the application form and 3 copies of the supporting documents must be submitted to Technical Assistant Division of the Brunei Mission in your country of origin or the closest Brunei Darussalam Mission to the country of origin.

The awarding body reserves the right to reject any applicant. No award will be made if there is no applicant of sufficient merit. The decision on selection of any candidate is final. Equiries or disputes regarding its decisions will not be entertained.
